Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born on August 19th 1965. She is an American actor and producer. She is best known for portraying the role of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick received an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. In the final season of the show Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The show ended on August 13 in 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
